Read more Read less. Customer reviews. How are ratings calculated? It became readily apparent that few if any of the 6 members were proficient, if even familiar with, OneNote. The few sources out there gave a general overview of this app, but none that I found had the numerous essential tips and tricks that this book has. Needing to become proficient in a hurry, I found this book to be indispensable for anyone who wants to become a OneNote power-user.

Highly recommended. My husband, who has mild learning problems, just loves this book. It is written in such a way that he can understand what they are saying and is able to actually perform the instructions without coming to me for 'translations' every time he tries to do something. Thank you for writing something that is so clear and easy to follow.

A lot of helpful information for somebody who is a little familiar with OneNote. A person who does not know anything at all about One Note may want to get another book with this one as this book does not have many illustrations to guide a beginner who is "feeling their way". It has many good tips, but the book I received has a problem with the construction.

Every 3rd sheet of paper in the book is NOT bound to the spine, so when flipping through the book, the pages come out. Reference the attached pictures. The last page shows it was printed in Monee, IL, so was wondering if there was a problem at that print shop.

Also, near the end of the book, it gives an e-mail address to contact the authors. I sent an e-mail to that address about a month ago, noting the problem with the construction of the book, and have not gotten any response back. I did get a tip or two, but found I needed additional information sometimes. The book has been translated from German to English, and contains tips on using OneNote. The instructions are pretty clear, but the presentation is dry, I just wanted a more swinging book.

It will make good reference down the line. The book in OneNote form is a great idea, I'm glad they thought of that. Very easy to understand. Very small to travel with. See all reviews. Top reviews from other countries. Although I had OneNote installed on my computers for a while, I did not use it until recently. Providing that you have reasonable knowledge of other applications within the MS Office family, this collection of tips will help you to master the OneNote application in no time.

It is written clearly and concisely and you rarely need to read tips twice to understand them. Highly recommended to everyone that intends to use this very useful peace of Microsoft software. As a busy teacher I use OneNote to hold all my information, planning notes and useful background articles and information to prepare lessons. I've already learned a great deal from this book and will continue to read and re-read over the next session to see how much more efficient I can be using OneNote and running my classes.

Good stuff - thanks. Report abuse. I thought i knew OneNote pretty well before I read this book, but it opened my eyes to many features and tricks I'd never encountered. An easy read too. One person found this helpful. Liked the logical and simple layout out of this book. Good graphics and textboxes to simply explain the topic. Great compact no nonsense book, which has came in real handy.

OneNote allows you to insert all kinds of information into notebooks, including other Office files. This video tip centers around another way to use OneNote to improve an unavoidable corporate task: meeting minutes.

OneNote makes sharing easy—and not just sharing via OneDrive. Integrated right into the OneNote ribbon is the Email Page button, which instantly creates an email with your notes in the body. OneNote is not only able to handle images with ease, it can also actually take screenshots or screen clippings to insert into your notes.
